²⁴ Let us think about ·each other and help each other [or how to provoke/rouse/encourage each another] to show love and do good deeds. ²⁵ You should not ·stay away from [neglect; forsake] ·the church meetings [meeting together], as some are doing [^Csome were abandoning Christianity and returning to Judaism], but you should encourage each other [^Cto stay faithful to Christ and to other believers], and even more so as you see the day coming [^Cthe day of the Lord, when Christ will return].

²⁶ If we ·decide to [deliberately] go on sinning after we have learned the ·truth [^Lknowledge of the truth], there is no longer any sacrifice for sins.
